Indocap SR 75 in pregnancy
Is Indocap SR 75 advisable to take in pregnancy. It has been prescribed by doctor to my sister for 10 days twice daily, as she has a large fibroid (17cm) and which shows early degeneration. She was facing sharp pain from last few weeks and she has completed her 2nd trimester. Does this medicine has serious side effects or can be taken as prescribed?

Indocap is a painkiller which is generally avoided during pregnancy. There are other ways to manage the pain due to degeneration of fibroids. Of course your Gynaecologist is the best person to advise further treatment.

Connect please. She can take indocap sr till 28 weeks, after that it should not be given. It's important that your sister receives adequate pain relief as for fibroid degeneration in pregnancy only adequate pain relief is the only treatment. Connect please
