I have had a problem of increasing cholesterol and triglycerides since last 1 year. I have taken Dabur Lipistat and Kumari asav and cholesterol came at normal level. But again increased after 2-3 months and I started again medicine. I am feeling tightness in chest sometimes and light pain in left hand and leg also. What is the permanent solution to cure.

our cholesterol and triglyceride levels fluctuating despite medication indicate an underlying metabolic imbalance. Ayurveda focuses on reducing Ama (toxins), improving lipid metabolism, and strengthening the heart (Hridya Rasayana therapy) for a long-term solution.
Permanent Ayurvedic Treatment:
1. Herbal Medicines (Continue for 3â6 months)
â Arjuna Churna â 1 tsp with warm water or milk daily for heart health.
â Guggulu (Medohar Guggulu / Triphala Guggulu) â 2 tablets twice daily to regulate cholesterol.
â Punarnava Churna â 1 tsp with water for better circulation and detox.
â Kumari Asav â 10â15 ml twice daily to support liver function (lipid metabolism).
2. Dietary & Lifestyle Changes
â Avoid: Fried foods, refined sugars, dairy in excess, and heavy meals at night.
â Include:
Garlic & flaxseeds for cholesterol control.
Triphala tea or warm lemon water in the morning to improve digestion.
Fresh fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.
â Exercise: Walk briskly for 30 minutes daily or practice Yoga (Surya Namaskar, Pranayama).
3. Chest Tightness & Left-Hand Pain
This could indicate poor circulation or heart strain. Continue Arjuna Churna and get your heart checkup (ECG, Lipid Profile) done if symptoms persist.
For a permanent cure, focus on lifestyle changes, Ayurvedic medicines, and regular monitoring. Follow this regimen for 6 months and recheck lipid levels.
