At 3.6 years , a height of 92 cm is slightly on the lower side of the normal range, but not necessarily alarming—especially if the child is otherwise active, eating well, and meeting developmental milestones. Wishing your child healthy and natural growth.
Next Steps
Include fresh homemade food, ghee, dates, soaked almonds, and seasonal fruits. Avoid junk, refined sugar, and packaged food.
Health Tips
Encourage daily outdoor play and some sun exposure (for Vitamin D).Daily abhyanga (oil massage) with warm sesame or coconut oil supports bones and muscles.

Some children do not grow fast , until they reach 14 years or so...  your pediatrician can only asses the child's height and weight and mile stones - hence take his advice If you still want to use ayurvedic medicine for general health consult us or any ayurvedic doctor nearby

"At 3.6 years, height of 92 cm is slightly below average, but not alarming yet. Genetics play a role, but nutrition, sleep, and physical activity are key. Ensure good diet—rich in proteins, calcium, and vitamin D. Avoid junk food. Monitor growth regularly. If still concerned, consult me for growth assessment and bone age evaluation. Early support gives best results."

Thank you for sharing this concern. Let’s take a closer look at your 3.6-year-old child’s height. --- ### 📏 **Child's Growth Assessment** * **Current age:** 3.6 years (approx. 43 months) * **Current height:** 92 cm * **Mid-parental (genetic) height estimate:** $$ \text{(Mother's height + Father's height + 13) / 2} = \text{(160 + 173 + 13)/2} = 173 cm $$ So, **expected adult height (rough estimate):** \~173 cm (±8.5 cm) --- ### 📉 Is 92 cm short at 3.6 years? According to WHO Growth Standards: * **Average height at 3.5 years**: \~99 cm * **3rd percentile height at 3.5 years**: \~93 cm Your child’s height of **92 cm** is **below the 3rd percentile**, which is considered **short stature** and needs further evaluation — but **not necessarily abnormal** or pathological. --- ### 🧪 Rule Out Any Medical Issues First 1. **Nutritional deficiency** – iron, zinc, vitamin D, protein. 2. **Chronic conditions** – celiac disease, frequent infections, asthma. 3. **Endocrine issues** – growth hormone deficiency, hypothyroidism. 4. **Genetic causes** – familial short stature, constitutional growth delay. You should **consult a pediatrician or pediatric endocrinologist**. They may suggest: * Growth chart plotting over time * Bone age X-ray * Blood tests: TSH, IGF-1, CBC, ESR, Vitamin D, zinc, etc. --- But we have better treatment option available in ayurveda. we will surely help you in that. ### 🌿 Ayurvedic & Natural Support for Growth While underlying causes must be addressed medically, Ayurveda and natural methods can support healthy growth. #### 1. **Ayurvedic Formulations** (Only after pediatric consultation) consult us personally for details. **Note:** Always start under Ayurvedic physician supervision, especially in toddlers. --- ### 🥗 Diet to Promote Height 1. **Protein-rich foods**: Moong dal, milk, curd, paneer, eggs, sprouts 2. **Bone-nourishing foods**: Ragi (nachni), sesame seeds, soaked almonds 3. **Growth-friendly fruits/veggies**: Papaya, banana, carrots, drumstick leaves 4. **Ghee** – 1 tsp daily for brain and bone nourishment 5. **Avoid**: Junk food, too much sugar, colas, excessive screen time --- ### 🏃‍♂️ Lifestyle & Habits * **Sleep**: 10–12 hours of deep sleep (GH release is highest during deep sleep) * **Outdoor play**: At least 1 hour in sunlight * **Yoga for toddlers**: * Tadasana (stretch pose) * Bhujangasana (cobra pose) * Surya Namaskar (simplified version) * Jumping and hanging exercises (if possible) --- ### ⏳ When to Worry? * Height is decreasing or not increasing over 6 months * Delayed milestones * Appetite and energy are poor * Family history of growth disorders --- Would you like help **tracking their growth with a proper chart** or guidance on which Ayurvedic supplement may suit your child’s constitution (*prakriti*)? Let me know. avoid self medication.
