Hey !! First of all, don't worry!! Now to answer your question, there are a lot of reasons behind de-arranged lipid profile, most of which accounts to poor diet and lifestyle.A brisk walk of 15 mins regularly can help you reduce the visceral fat and your risk of hyper triglyceridemia. More importantly modify your diet and consult a dietician for it. Get to know which food has high HDL(good cholesterol) and which worsen the lipid profile. Do consult me(or any other physician) and get your lipid profile done every 3 months.I hope it helps

If there is Increased Triglycerides levels, then its essential to know the cause behind it, could be diet, or other causes. Likewise methods would be employed to reduce it, but for borderline case, the recommended method is by lifestyle modification, and using drugs only if absolutely necessary.
Next Steps
Start lifestyle modification methods, to know that the correct way, consult a general physician.

Borderline triglycerides mean your triglyceride levels are slightly high. This can be caused by the following reasons: - Eating too many foods high in unhealthy fats, like fried foods, baked goods, and red meat - Being overweight or obese - Having diabetes or prediabetes - Drinking too much alcohol To reduce your triglyceride levels, you can: - Eat more healthy foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins - Exercise regularly - Lose weight if you are overweight - Limit your alcohol intake - Talk to your doctor about medication if lifestyle changes are not enough
