Medicines can delay the surgery, but only temporarily. But if the tooth is already decayed, that process is not reversible. Hence expect pain to return in the future. (Can't predict when). If you want to save adjacent teeth which may be healthy at this time, removal of the affected teeth only sounds sensible. There are enough aids available with a oral surgeon to make you feel comfortable during the whole procedure. General anesthesia can be used if you don't want to see and feel anything.

Hi.. As per your information what I can make out is that you have an issue with your wisdom  tooth. Since there is no space for the tooth to come..It becomes difficult to maintain that area. There is a surgery involved in removing the wisdom  tooth but there is nothing much to worry. The surgery is painless n post that medication would be given to u!!

Hello. Can you please upload your x-ray so that I can have a better understanding of your case. Don't worry and don't be tensed. It is not a major surgery, just a small tooth surgery, where you will be given adequate local anesthesia, and you won't feel any pain. After the surgery also, you will be under medications and pain will not be there. There will be slight discomfort for one week, but after that you would be absolutely fine.
Next Steps
Upload your x-ray.

If two dentists have advised the same treatment then probably that is the right option.... if you post the X-ray of the tooth we can be in a better position to give more suggestions...... please understand that tooth extraction surgery for third molars is a non negotiable option.....  home remedies or medications can only delay the symptoms and that too temporarily...... the permanent cure will only be the removal of the tooth..... it will also be highly recommended that you do not delay this procedure till your tolerable pain becomes intolerable.... also your apprehensions regarding the surgery can be reduced to some extent by a detailed conversation with your surgeon..... all the dental procedures done these days are absolutely painless..... Regards....

Hi ..It is wisdom tooth which is decayed causing severe pain.Removal of tooth is only the choice of treatment to permanently cure your problem. You can go for it as it is a minor surgery and the procedure is done under local anesthesia. You will feel pressure but not pain, donot worry and neglect.
