Hello, it might be due to various reasons like poor absorption/digestion, stress, or underlying issues like thyroid imbalance, low Vitamin D/B12, etc.
Next Steps
Gradual calorie increase needs to be done with calorie dense foods but before that ensure that you do these below tests: Thyroid profile CBC Vitamin D & B12 HbA1c if clinically needed
Health Tips
We can do the weight gain without protein powders too. Connect with me and we can discuss this further!

Hi Please do a blood test and check for thyroid levels, diabetes profile, iron Vitamin D and B12 levels. What is your height? If everything in the blood report is fine, then you have to look at nutrient absorption.

Not gaining weight Very fast metabolism Not enough protein despite high food quantity Skipping meals or long gaps Poor digestion Excess activity/ stress / lack of sleep Low calorie food or inconsistent eating Plz check: CBC Thyroid profile Vitamin D and B12 Stool test for digestion issues Liver function test and Sugar profile For healthy weight gain focus on Protein + calorie surplus + strength training + sleep Target Protein 1.4-1.8 gm/ kg body weight 5-6 meals per day Avoid long fasting Add in diet Eggs, chicken, fish, milk , curd, peanut butter, bananas shakes, dry fruits, roasted potatoes, sweet potatoes, nuts and seeds Strength training and weight training is important . Without resistance exercise, extra eating may not convert into muscle
