I m feeling very low, depressed.
I m feeling depressed since last year ,I was selected in a good college by my hard work , but now I don't want to study anymore. Don't want to look at my books even. Just want to spend my whole day on sleeping. Because of this I failed in my first year btech. There is a low self esteem, low thoughts. Sometimes my mood is light, want to study, but most of the time I don't feel like studying , and it's about 95% of the time.

Hi. Depressive moods can be very difficult to deal with and during this phase, you should try reaching out to a close friend or relative. You can even make a diary in which you can note down your thoughts while you are in such a mood. When you are feeling better, you can read these thoughts to reflect on them and understand their root cause. Since it's having an impact on your studies, I would suggest consulting a psychologist to get an accurate diagnosis and treatment for your problem. But first please find a close friend or relative who you can reach out to during this dperessive phase. Take care and I hope you get better soon.
