Thank you for sharing. What you're describing - persistent mood swings, low energy, inability to enjoy time with your child or manage daily tasks - may point toward a depressive episode, possibly related to postpartum changes or chronic stress. These symptoms are more common than we realize and are treatable with the right help. You're not alone in this.
Next Steps
1. Please consult a psychiatrist for a detailed evaluation and diagnosis. 2. Psychotherapy (e.g., CBT) and/or medications may be recommended based on assessment. 3. Establish a daily routine, ensure regular sleep, and seek support from family/friends.
Health Tips
This is not your fault. Many women feel this way and recover well with timely treatment. Avoid self-blame or isolation. Prioritizing your mental health will also help your child thrive.

Hi I can sense how heavy and exhausting this feels for you. When you’re constantly battling mood swings, lack of energy, and find no joy even in things like caring for your child, it’s more than just “being tired.” These are classic signs of depression, often triggered by chronic stress, emotional burnout, or even hormonal imbalances. It’s not your fault, and it doesn’t mean you’re weak. Your mind and body are simply asking for help, rest, and healing. The good news is, with therapy (CBT), small lifestyle changes, and sometimes medical support, this emotional heaviness can be lifted. Techniques like behavioral activation (small, doable tasks daily), learning to challenge negative thoughts, and even mindfulness can reignite your spark. But most importantly, you need to give yourself permission to seek help—just like you would for a physical illness. Take therapy, and you can connect with me on nine two six six seven two six zero six five.

Hi, I appreciate that you reached out with your concern. I understand you are feeling bad mood swings and not able to feel happiness, I recommend you to incorporating calming practices such as deep breathing exercises, mindfulness, and progressive muscle relaxation into your daily routine. These techniques can help you to calm your mind. Also, aim to maintain a nutritious diet, engage in light physical activity as tolerated, and prioritize restorative sleep. Also, if this still persist and then consult clinical psychologist and consider psychometric test to find out if there is any personality issue that might cause this.
