You can expect procedures like root canal treatment or extractions to be free of cost in government hospitals or charitable centres, but even in these places, laboratory dependent procedures like fabrication of a cap cannot be free of cost. There are various kinds of caps and you can talk to your dentist according to your budget, but certain minimal cost can be expected even at Government centres.
