I can't stop overthinking
I have been like this since a young age. Constantly washing my hands and fearing germs and whatnot. Though those habits are long gone now. Now I just find myself constantly worried. I could be feeling happy and something petty happens and there goes my happiness. I just easily feel depressed. Constantly worried about my age and feel like I keep getting old. Plus now I noticed some paranoia. Feeling like someone is out there to get me or spoiling my name. I keep asking my younger brothers questions to be reassured. Idk what to do anymore tbh. Life generally feels gloomy because of all these mental tortures.

Often we confuse between overthinking and problem solving. Give yourself 10 min to think about the concern, if you don’t get to any conclusion, you’re overthinking. Take small steps towards it- what is it it that you can control?
Next Steps
Consult me for audio /video sessions as I have dealt successfully with many cases of overthinking. It’s manageable

Tie a simple band on your wrist. Whenever you feel that you are thinking too much or going deep down on thoughts. Just Snap the rubber band on your wrist and more hard you snap it the more it will be of help. And then after Snapping your brain gets alerted and alarmed that you are overthinking. Next step is, now that you are aware and know that you shouldn't overthink. Just replace these thoughts with another one or concentrate on things happening right now. You can also perform other task like reading a book or going for walk.
