Try to know your thoughts before your sleep and write it down on a piece of paper. Then analyze them whether they are important or not. If they are not, then try to stop that thought process. Before, to help you out in whole, complete understanding of yourself is important and more details are required

Hi It is necessary to know what is causing lack of sleep. To feel better consult a psychologist and explain about lack of sleep. With a psychologist you can talk about your family, lifestyle, eating pattern, and caffeine intake. I understand it can be stressful when you are not able to sleep well. Hi... Sleep is an essential bodily need and if you have not slept for a month, it makes it a severe condition. You must consult a Psychiatrist immediately and take medications to help you get some sleep immediately. If you have been sleeping for small durations but not properly since past one month than you can consult a Psychologist and take psychotherapy/counselling to address the psychosocial issues causing this sleep deprivation. In both the cases you may have to consult a Psychiatrist and a Psychologist. Who to consult first depends upon the severity of your condition as explained above. Try following a healthy routine in terms of proper and timely meals, exercise, and breathing/meditation. It will also help you regulate your sleep better.
Next Steps
Consult a Psychiatrist and a Psychologist. Medications and/or Psychotherapy is required.
