Hypothyroid patient
Hello dr...am  31 years old married hypothyroid patient  as my tsh level is slightly increasd since 3 years and am  on  thyroxin tab.50 mcg daily .... my weight is increased due to thyroid in between these 3 years ...am 83 kg now and  my height is 5 feet 4 inches ...kindly suggest good diet thank u ...

First of all ensure you take your thyroxin 1st thing morning and give an hours gap before consuming any food or else it won’t be of help As the medicine takes an hours time to get utilised and help the thyroid glad to function normally Secondly avoid Gluten, lactose, cruciferous vegetables and soy Thirdly get a customised diet plan to maintain your thyroid and get rid of this condition and reverse Thyroid altogether for your better health management

Hello, If you are Hypothyroid patient check TSH after every 3 months, according to TSH level adjust the dosage of tablets. It may help you to weight loss. Next is diet and exercise. You need proper diet Consultation.
