I am 35 weeks 3 days pregnant and My previous gynaecologist prescribed calcium tablet 2 times a day. But Recently I visited another gynaecologist due to some reason and she prescribed me 1 tablet a day and the ASHA worker also suggested me 1 tablet a day. So it's 2 tablet a day or 1 tablet a day? Calcium needs in late pregnancy depend on your diet and blood levels, so it's normal for the exact dose to vary between doctors. Both one and two tablets a day are commonly used ranges for this combination.
Next Steps
Please check directly with the gynaecologist who saw you most recently, since she has your latest reports and exam findings.
Health Tips
Avoid combining both instructions and taking extra tablets on your own, since more isn't automatically better here.
