How does typhoid spread?
Can I get typhoid if someone had it and they cooked a meal which I ate? Is it easily transmitted? I have mild nausea since coming in contact with an infected person.

Yes.  Typhoid is spread by oro-faecal  route.  If your food handler  had Typhoid recently then he should not be a food handler.
