- **HDL: 57 mg/dL** (Excellent - >60 is ideal)
- Triglycerides: 66 mg/dL** (Excellent - <150 is normal)

Comprehensive Management Plan:

- May need thyroid supplementation if confirmed

- Given your risk factors, a statin may be recommended
- Plant-based alternatives like red yeast rice (under supervision)
3. Monitoring:
- Repeat lipid profile in 3 months
- Annual cardiac risk assessment recommended
When Medication May Be Needed:
Given your age and LDL level, medication typically be recommended if:

Eat a diet rich in soluble fiber foods like oats, barley, fruits, and vegetables, and include healthy fats like avocado, nuts, and olive oil to help lower cholesterol levels at home.
Hi,
Hope you are doing well. Based on what you have provided I would strongly advice you to start the following
A regular calorie counted diet
Aerobic exercise (walking, jogging, running, swimming etc) - 30 mins a day for 5 days a week. Start slow. Beyond the steps, it's important to have a dedicated half hour of activity too.
Avoid alcohol and smoking
Repeat the reports only after 3 months. The sample has to be a fasting sample (8 hours of no food, basically after you wake up give a morning sample)
You don't directly need medicines to control this. Don't fall for that.
Do consult for better information
Change life style n diet plan drastically first.
You already walk soo it's good.
Avoid fried food junk, fast outside food.
Aterovast20 one at night after dinner for weeks.
Diet + exercise (walk for 30 mins a day /5 days a week) + reduction in weight should be your first step.. If u feel it still not working , then you have to start medication with tab atorvastarin 40 mg 1 tab od hs then to add or increase the dose depending on your response
As you don't have any associated medical disorders, you can continue with physical activity and diet changes.Your LDL cholesterol level is moderately elevated, high hdl level is good.As you are above 60 years, you can consider taking statins like rosuastatin 10 mg once a day for a few months to bring your LDL cholesterol level lower.
Change u r life style
Avoid excess oil in diet fried items outside food junk food
Regular walk exercise daily
Start some detox drink every day morning empty stomach
