Bad cholesterol LDL level
Hi, My husband had LDL 148. Is it dangerous? How much is the normal LDL level? Please advise on how to reduce LDL level. Thanks.

100 is normal level. Say him to do jogging walking exercise life style modification. Avoid oily fried junk food.

Well various studies suggests that any LDL above 90 is not good. Keep a watch on cooked-fat intake, promote high fiber in diet  and regular 40 min cardiac exercise which can be best done by brisk walking.  If levels remain high even after 3 months of such routine, then we should intervene with some medications.
