High irritatabilty and anger and moody
I had a problem of being very short tempered. I consulted doctor a year ago. He prescribed me fluoxetine 20mg. Vit d3 60k weekly and vitcofol c injection. I had seen a great improvement in my depression symptoms. But the condition that still persist is that i get irritated very easily(around my family members). I get angry on small things and think about that all the time. I get extremely angry when my family members murmur any song, or chewing food with mouth open and burping and touching their face. I get full of rage when i see or hear this things like thats not even in my control. I cant control myself around these things.this has affected my time spent with family as I donât want to get triggered. I have no personal problem with my family but everytime i hear that sound i get full of rage. I try to control it but I canât and feel low after this rage. Its like its not even in my control. When the trigger is over i am back to normal but i am always anxious that i will hear again thi

Hello, from what i see you might be suffering from Misophonia and you might benefit with some psychotherapy along with medication.

has your anger issue been also in the past or has it been present during this episode? you must consult your psychiatrist to start medications again or increase the dose/change medication to take care of possible depression. you might also need psychotherapy for your issues with family and anger issues if present for a long time.

Are you still taking the fluoxetine? If no, then i think you need to start again. If yes, then you might need to increase the dose. What you are having seems to be some type of obssessive thought causing irritability and intolerance to certain sounds and behaviours around you. Fluoxetine works well for this but at higher dose than 20mg. Please visit a psychiatrist to get the right dosage and undergoing therapy might help as well

There are people who get angry for small triggers and explode. SSRIs ork for them well. They need to be taken for long duration for psychological well being. Consult an astute psychiatrist in person or online and get treated. Good luck
