CRP test detects the presence of inflammation, helps determine its severity, and monitors response to treatment. It cannot pinpoint the exact cause or location of the inflammation. As your CRP level is raised , we need more information about your health. Your complete history is required to find out the cause and to suggest any treatment

Hello Just on the basis of CRP it is not possible to make a diagnosis without looking further into your condition , CRP is a very sensitive marker for inflammation - even heavy exercise can raise it significantly , so you will need a proper consultation
Next Steps
Advisable to consult a doctor with further details
Health Tips
CRP raises very fast but goes down a little slower so brining it down will be out of question if the main issue causing it’s raised levels is not solved first

CRP 18 is elevated and usually indicates ongoing inflammation or infection in the body it’s not something we treat directly, we need to find the cause. If you have symptoms like fever, pain, cough, or urinary issues, it needs evaluation. I’d suggest a quick consultation so we can correlate your symptoms and guide tests treatment properly.

"A CRP (C-Reactive Protein) level of 18 mg/L indicates active inflammation or infection somewhere in your body. It is important to understand that CRP is a 'non-specific marker'—it tells us that your immune system is reacting to something, but it doesn't pinpoint the exact cause. To bring this level back to normal, we must first identify and treat the source of the inflammation rather than treating the number itself
