Hi, my brother has always an elevated blood pressure 130-140/85-90 . He is obsese (90 kg) , age -25 male Is it normal? Please advice

It’s pre-hypertensive, and not good for a 25 year old. He should definitely loose weight, and consult a medicine doctor

If he loses weight the blood pressure can still come down otherwise eventually his pressure will rise with increase in weight. Mainly lifestyle changes- food and exercise will help

For 25 years age that BP is not good.. He need to loose weight.. And prior starting medication for his BP he requires some basic blood tests - CBC, RFT, SE, TSH, RBS. Let him check his BP for a week daily prior to start medication. He should be relaxed for 10min and not to take coffee or tea 30min prior BP recording
