Heavy bleeding with body pain and abdominal pain should not be ignored..it may lead to iron deficiency anaemia...get her CBC and pelvis usg done at the earliest to rule out the underlying cause of persistent heavy bleeding which may be due to fibroids, adenomyosis, endometrial disorders etc
Next Steps
Till that time..consume iron rich foods like pomegranate, figs, black soaked raisins etc

10 days of heavy bleeding is concerning and could be due to fibroids, PCOS, or hormonal imbalance. Get a CBC to check for anemia and a pelvic ultrasound done first.

our wife's symptoms of heavy menstrual bleeding lasting around 10 days every month, along with abdominal pain, body aches, and weakness, are not considered normal and should be evaluated. Prolonged or heavy bleeding can lead to iron deficiency and anemia, which may explain her fatigue and body pain. Common causes include hormonal imbalances, uterine fibroids, adenomyosis, endometrial polyps, thyroid disorders, bleeding disorders, or conditions such as endometriosis or adenomyosis, among others.
While temporary remedies may provide symptom relief, the underlying cause needs to be identified so that appropriate treatment can be given.

For individualized Ayurvedic guidance and supportive management alongside gynecological care, you may connect with us at 9 3 1 5 6 6 1 5 6 5. After a detailed assessment, we can advise a personalized treatment approach based on her condition.
Health Tips
Ensure she gets adequate rest during heavy bleeding and drinks enough fluids to stay hydrated. A balanced diet rich in iron-containing foods (such as green leafy vegetables, legumes, beans, dates, raisins, and lean protein if part of her diet) along with foods rich in vitamin C can support recovery. Avoid skipping meals, and encourage gentle activity once the bleeding settles rather than complete inactivity. From an Ayurvedic perspective, excessive menstrual bleeding may be associated with Rakta and Pitta imbalance, and treatment is individualized after assessing the patient's constitution and the underlying cause. With the correct diagnosis and treatment, most women experience significant improvement in both bleeding and associated symptoms, so it is important not to ignore persistent heavy periods. Thank you
You will have to do some basic investigation like scanning and running basic blood panel to rule out any abnormality like fibroids and related problems
Once we can understand her problem thoroughly we can start treatment
Next Steps
Do consult in person so we can take proper history and further plan for treatment
Health Tips
Avoid excessive oily foods, spicy foods and keep hydrated
Bleeding heavily for nearly 10 days every month should not be treated simply as a period problem or weakness. The important question is why the bleeding is excessive.
At 32, causes such as hormonal or ovulatory disturbances, fibroids, adenomyosis and other gynecological conditions need to be evaluated. The weakness and body pain may also be related to blood loss and anemia.
Next Steps
A gynecological evaluation with CBC/Hb and appropriate pelvic evaluation or ultrasound would be advisable. Once the cause and severity are understood, treatment can be planned accordingly. Ayurveda can also be integrated based on the underlying cause rather than giving a generic remedy for bleeding.
