Disc bulge itself will not cause any problems but if the disc bulge is pressing on any nerve root only then it will cause problems so please attach MRI report so that v can suggest you correct treatment

For back-at home.bed rest for seven days+hot water fomentation+application of pain killer gel..avoid forward bending, weight lifting, cold exposure , stair climbing.long travelling or driving, no prolonged standing/walking/sitting.
In my opinion you need to go for physiotherapy sessions followed by few blood tests like calciumvitamin d and vitamin b 12...if you are having deranged values you need to take supplement medications... In physiotherapy you need to go for IFT / hot pack / US / Laser..followed by exs after ur pain subsides...take care get well soon

Ur vitamin d levels... ur sacroilliac joints... have u chekced above... if not.......
