The first and most important step in these cases is to start using SOFT FOOTWEAR
The bone growing which is calcification is not the problem but the tightness and inflammation is the problem
foot wear should be spongy like it should be compressible so that it relieves all the stress from your body weight OFF THE HEEL..
The moment you wake up there should be soft footwear underneath your foot.. untill you do this is not going to work and would be taking longer time..
I also need few more inputs from you. Is it in both heels
Do you have pain in other joints apart from the heel
Bilateral heel pain sometimes point towards inflammation pathology or thyroid
So you might need some tests
you might need to do CBP/ESR/RBS/ S CREATININETSH/S URIC ACID/VIT D3
apart from these there are some exercises like
calf stretches eccentric loading exercises intrinsic muckle exercises
hot fomentation- immerse foot in a bucket of Luke warm water with added salt
flexabenZ OINTMENT application may also may help
hi,
This is a very common problem and the solution is simple as well. the heal spur is secondary to plantar fasciitis. the pain is usually more when you wake up in the morning as you move around it reduces and if you stress a lot it increases again.
solution for this - Rest, Hot fomentation, footwear with MEDIAL ARCH SUPPORT and most important of all STRETCHES
