I feel pain at the edge of the heel also. when I wear flip flop very mild pain is there ,,when I leave it and walk barefoot I  experience pain . however I tried stretching the foot but no result and I have done oil massages also but no relief.  I wear a flat flip flop inside the house also. . . Your heel pain could be due to calcaneal spur or Plantar fascitis.
Next Steps
You should do contrast bath therapy. Procedure: Take two tubs one filled with hot water (bearable heat) and rock salt, and other filled with cold water. The water should be till your ankle height. You need to immerse the foot in hot water for two minutes and then followed by cold water for two minutes. Repeat the process for 20 minutes twice a day for a week. You should do foot and ankle strengthening and stretching exercises with proper guidance.
Health Tips
If the pain persists or aggrevates you need to consult a Physiotherapist in person or through video call for further evaluation and treatment.

Hi do you get the pain first step you take in the morning? Looks like plantar fascitis from the complains. The fact that you are saying that you tried stretching and oil massage have you visited a physiotherapist in the past and got your self evaluated.
Next Steps
If yes , the stretches should be done in a specific way to be effective and along with stretches some strengthen exercises are also very important.if the pain is too much you can go for contrast bath method that is both hot and cold immersion usually helps with heel pain.the slipper you are wearing is a very flat one which will put a lot of weight on foot arch so wear a slipper with cupped heel and arch support
