Heel pain pls he
I'm having heel pain from past 4 days I thought it might go on its own but the pain has been since then I experience pain as shown in the photo. I feel pain at the edge of the heel also. I have shown in pic with black dots.  Sometimes when I wear flip flop very mild pain is there ,,when I leave it and walk barefoot I  experience pain . however I tried stretching the foot but no result and I have done oil massages also but no relief.  I wear a flat flip flop inside the house also. I have attached the pic of it as well. . is that the main reason for the pain??

Hello, It may be a calcaneal spur..or may be due the tightness of tendon or fascia. Take 2 tub's one with hot water and one with cool water put your feet in hot water for 2 min and alternately then later put it in the cool water for 2 min. Do it twice a day.

Yes a calcaneal spur could have formed at that location. There are a few things you need to observe..... Are your arches flat on that side when you walk... Is your pain worse in the mornings and slightly better through the day but then hurts again when you begin to walk after rest, this could be a pantar fasciitis. However classically the pain in that case is at the middle of the heel....

we need to get better heel mobility, better strength is your hip muscles, try to use orthotics (footwear inserts) or a heel cup. **Meanwhile use ice at it helps any ongoing inflammation....

It can be calcaneal spur. Apply ice pack three times a day 10 min-15min. Use pain'relieving gel or diclofenac gel or volini gel. Visit to nearest physiotherapy clinic.
