Meniscus repair, ankle and heel pain
My meniscus was repair on 26 august 2025 , after 1.5 months when I walk my ankle and heel pain is starting when I wake up at morning . Give me solution of this problem

After meniscus repair, it’s common to experience ankle or heel discomfort if your gait (walking pattern) changes or if muscle tightness develops due to reduced activity. The morning heel pain may also suggest plantar fascia tightness or altered weight bearing after surgery. Probable causes: • Altered gait mechanics post-surgery • Tight calf and plantar fascia • Weak quadriceps or ankle stabilizers • Improper footwear or prolonged immobilization

you have to keep yours leg elevated using pillow and keep icing over pain area twice for 10- 15 mins per day. Do static quads,Straight leg raise,Ankle pump,heel slide,hamstring curls,mini squats,Calf raise,stationary cycling.

Hi start giving stretches at your heel/ ankle. Wear soft soled slippers. Check vitamin D levels
