Hi With the information provided it seems to be case of plantar fasciopathy. Avoid walking barefoot, wear soft soled shoes or slippers, hot pack and contrast therapy( hot/ cold) can work. Visit your nearest sports medicine specialist or orthopedic to evaluate and to rule out other causes of the pain. They may refer to physiotherapist for electrical therapy and exercises to help with pain relief and prevent recurrence.

The problem that you have could be plantar fasciitis( swelling of the band of tissue that connects the heels to the bone). This could be due to a various reasons such as sudden weight gain, improper footwear, or even a calcaneal spur in the heel.
Next Steps
Visit a nearby Physiotherapist, and take electrotherapy such as ultrasound and ift. Even taping will help alot with the healing and pain.Stretching of the calf mucles and releasing the plantar fascia manually will give you alot of relief.
Health Tips
Do not walk barefoot , always wear a comfortable footwear even at home. You could also use hot water fermentation with EPSON salt(1 tsp).

Hi Heel aches occur due to various reasons... 1) weight gain - Increase in weight causes stress on your heels and causes pain. For this, you need to lose weight and continue all that you were doing...heat fermentation and cold compressions. 2) plantar fascitis- inflammation of the ligament that runs the length of the foot, commonly caused by overstretching. For this treatment is Physiotherapy (Ultrasound, Massage and stretching for tight Achilles tendon) Etc..
