Head spinning and muscle pain in soulder
My wife is having pain in shoulder and her head is spinning. Also she is feeling heaviness from back of her head. Feeling diginess. Not able to stand and work.

Visit a physiotherapist who can do myofasical release of occipital muscles SCM and Scaleni muscles. She might need dry needling to break the muscle adhesion and for occipital nerve . Use pillow of appropriate height a normal cotton pillow can work if height is accurate.

1) Reduce pillow height, better to use cervical pillow 2) Avoid neck bending, sudden jerk movements 3)Apply hot pack twice daily (each time 15mins) and then apply ointment

Its due to cervical problem, its a symptom of CS, hot water fermentation at home will provide relief to muscles for the moment. Electrotherapy and few exercises will help reduce this pain. visit nearest physiotherapy centre if possible and take treatment for 1 week.

1) This could be due to cervical spine problem. Have to assess the patient. 2) Do not get panic you can do icing at cervical region and use thin pillow 3) try to maintain good posture of upper back and neck. Reduce use of cell phone and screen 4) Do not press your hand while sleeping it can create spasm to neck region 5) twice or thrice a day icing will be helpful 6) Avoid prolonged standing 7) shoulder exercises can also give relief up to some extent 8) Do not lift any heavy object and avoid forward bending (this information/advice is not valid for medico legal purposes) Dr Deepesh nainani (PT) consultant orthopaedic physiotherapist Jagriti physiotherapy group Jaipur

It's due to bad posture since long time. So it needs release of spinal and neck muscles, posture correction, spinal mobilisation and some relative exercises. For this visit nearby physiotherapist, problem will he cured completely.
