Sorry to hear that you're experiencing pain on the upper left side of your head when bending over. This type of headache is often referred to as a positional headache, which occurs when changing positions, such as bending over or standing up.¹ There are several possible causes for positional headaches, including: - *Dehydration*: Although you mentioned drinking water regularly, dehydration can still occur, leading to headaches.² - *Sinus Pressure*: Sinus headaches can cause pain on one side of the head, especially when bending over. - *Tension or Stress*: Tension headaches can also cause pain on one side of the head, often accompanied by neck stiffness. To alleviate your symptoms, try the following: - *Stay Hydrated*: Continue drinking plenty of water to ensure you're not dehydrated. - *Rest*: If you experience a headache, try lying down and resting for a while. - *Over-the-counter Pain Relief*: If your headaches persist, consider taking over-the-counter pain relief medication like acetaminophen or ibuprofen. If your symptoms worsen or persist, it's essential to consult with a healthcare professional to rule out any underlying conditions that may require medical attention.
