I used to have green leafy vegetables almost daily..I wonder how hb become low even having that..pleas advise

Include vitamin C along with iron rich food. Have iron tablet with Lemon juice or a fruit.
Have good protein intake like Channa with jaggery Peanuts Channa Makhana Rajma. Include eggs fish in diet.

Firstly we have to find out why your hemoglobin is low. There are few blood test to know your iron defficiency.you have to include iron rich foods ie Ragi,pulses, nuts and vit c rich sources. To plan a diet I need to take detail diet history to know your body type.

Iron deficiency could also be caused if there is any sort of infection. Try deworming your GI tract and then start with supplements. Regarding diet modification, you can include greens, ragi, tofu, whole grains, pulses legumes. It is important to take Vitamin C rich food whenever you take a veg form of iron to improve absorption.
