My dad is suffering from CAD,HTN ,DM .
Recently he checked his hb levels which were 9.4 gm/dL.
What fruits and vegetables is best for diabetic patient whose iron levels are low?

As I’m missing complete information about your dads age height & weight I can only suggest IV injections to uplift the iron levels immediately and oral supplements are wasted more than they are absorbed

Iron rich foods are - all parts of banana- Banana, banana stem, banana flower along with black raisins/ raisins, munakka , anjeer & dates along with green leafy vegetables

Firstly he is anemic so you can give some iron rich foods like fruits -pomegranate,guava,and dried dates.
vegetables- carrot, beetroot,green leafy vegetables
and there are some foods like ragi,sheep liver,pumpkin seeds,and rice flakes.
above mentioned foods are including their diet regularly at limited quantity

restrict the coffee and tea intake more than 2 times a day and mainly taking with mewl
including citrus fruits with meals helps in better absorption of iron

Iron fortified breads and cereals
Beans and lentils
Green leafy vegetables especially spinach
Tofu
Red meat fish
Dried fruits like prune, raisins and apricots are good sources of iron.
100 gm prune contains 0.93 mg of iron while raisins contain 2.6 mg iron apricot have 6.3 mg of iron per 100 gm
Prune also helps digestion and lower cholesterol levels in our body.
