Hello.. Good evening.. I suggest you to take an xray to verify if it is possible to do root canal treatment and place a crown over it.. If crown structure is fully damaged means, extraction has to be done.. But replace the teeth after extraction.. Take pain killers twice a day for three days.. Hello, There are chances that the remaining root stump in paining due to underneath infection. Visit nearby clinic and get a X-ray done, and if indicated for extraction, go for it.

If root pieces with some amount of white tooth part is there then go for rct with post and core to save the tooth and if root is badly broken then go for extraction
