Difficult to comment with out seeing the report or detail history.but the endometrial polyp can affect the fertility and should be removed as it causes the uterine atmosphere unfit for the fetus .you might need a hysteroscopy with polypectomy which can locate the polyp and get removed and sent for biopsy in the same setting .dont worry .its not a very big procedure
