Hello,
Firstly I had chest pain, I had visited the doctor for this and I have done all the test such as cbc, thyroid, glucose, Tmt, ecg, ultrasound and chest xray. Everything came normal and my blood was 11. So doctor had given me iron tablets after taking that my stomach used to burn and I used to eat curd rice and vegetables. I had this for 1 week or so and I had stopped taking that tablet as well. But i have lost weight 2-3 kgs. Sometimes I feel breathlessness as well
Am very scared

Hemoglobin at 11 gm is alright in a female, should not be the cause of breathlessness.Gastric irritation could be reduced by using ferrous bisyglinate iron preparation
These symptoms are common with iron supplements
You do not need to worry about the same
Just follow some dietary advice
Next Steps
1. Avoid iron tablets empty stomach
2. Eat iron tablets 2 hours of food intake
3. Take tablets with orange juice/ lemon water
4. Avoid milk with tablets

Given the tests including echo and TMT are normal and considering your age and other conditions(given no known comorbidities or drug intake) u seem to be less likely to have a cardiac issue.
Hb of 11 may be corrected with iron tablets but for a menstruating lady I won't say it is too low.
Gastric problems are common with iron tablets. It's ok to discontinue the tab. Or u may try taking them just after food. Don't take them after milk or calcium rich foods.
Losing weight could be due to anxiety. Weight loss doesn't seem to be in significant range.
Next Steps
Increase dietary iron intake like leafy vegetables, jaggery, ragi, nuts and seeds (sesame, dates, walnut, apricot), meat, fruits etc along with vit C rich foods like citrus fruits to increase absorption.
Reduce anxiety.
Reduce tea.

Most important question is breathlessness happening during excertion or also during rest?
Still hb 11 is not that low to cause resting breathlessness.
Also this episode of chest pain with breastlessness feels like psychosomatic symptom rather than due to low hb , meaning this is anxiety related you feel you have heart problem.at age 26 years it is very very very rare specially for female to get MI since estrogen is cardioprotective giving extra cardiac benefits to females compared to males. If there is no history of DM 2 OR htN ..just take cardiac issues out of your mind for now.
For improving hb eat more spinach in diet along with ragi . Also use jaggery instead sugar. It's okay even if you don't take iron. In my opd i always get hb less than 10 who are perfectly normal from last 10 years.so I won't attribute it to low hb at all.

Hello Ma’am,
Since all your heart and chest tests (ECG, TMT, X-ray, ultrasound) are normal, the chest pain and breathlessness are more likely due to anemia, acidity, or anxiety rather than heart disease. The mild weight loss and stomach burning from iron tablets are common side effects, so nothing to panic.
If more questions are in your mind, you can contact me on WhatsApp at nine one one nine two five five six nine nine for free consultation.
Take balanced nutritious diet with lots of fibre ., green leafy vegetables, jaggery, eggs and dals.
Fresh fruit like apple ,banana, pomegranate, kiwi are rich in iron.
Hello,
Your reports are reassuring as all major tests are normal. Hemoglobin of 11 suggests mild anemia, which can cause chest discomfort, fatigue, breathlessness and weight changes. Iron tablets often cause stomach burning — you can take them after meals or switch to a different preparation like ferrous ascorbate .
Include iron-rich foods (green leafy vegetables, jaggery, dates, pulses, beetroot, pomegranate, lean meat) along with vitamin C (lemon/orange) for better absorption. Avoid tea/coffee close to the time of taking iron.
Next Steps
Since you noticed some weight loss and breathlessness, it’s best to follow up once with your doctor to adjust medicines and rule out other causes. Don’t worry — with correction of anemia and proper diet, you should improve.
Health Tips
Do not ignore persistent chest pain or rapid weight loss — follow up with your doctor for detailed evaluation if symptoms continue.
I would suggest you get your ECG, 2D Echo done as well if you feel breathless or tired. Your Hb looks a bit on the lower side. Let us get the results of the above tests and then take the next step forward. Do not worry. Things should be fine
