I see things sometimes and I get alot of nightmares. Do I need to take an MRI Scan so that I can be sure of the problem behind the cause?

Sometime laboratory investigation is not sufficient. Clinical investigation is very much important in some cases. Consult Psychologist or me immediately online or offline and diagnose ur case then proper treatment is advised. May be u are suffering from Anxiety ,Stress ,Sleeplessness , depression etc.

Hello, MRI scan do not detect all problems. If the problem is related to neurotransmitter or electrolytes it wont be detected in MRI. Seeing things which are not there or misinterpreting them can be related to perception problem. You need to consult a psychiatrist for detail evaluation.
