Hair thinning from the middle/top of the head at 23 is most likely male pattern hair loss (androgenetic alopecia) â it can start in the early 20s and is genetic. However, at this age it's also worth ruling out nutritional causes like iron deficiency or low vitamin D/B12 before starting treatment.
