You can apply metrogyl ointment topically and do chlorohexidine mouthwash rinses after every meal for a week to ten days. If possible, visit a nearest dentist at the earliest for deep cleaning of your teeth.

For temporary relief,
Luke warm water gargle with a pinch of black salt.
Apply, dologel CT for 5 times/day. Not to swallow contaminated saliva. keep applied for 2 mins and keep spitting out the saliva accumulated in mouth meanwhile.
Rinse mouth thoroughly after every 2 mins of gel application.
Visit dentist after a few months from further treatment.

Managing pain is not bad but you need to tell us more why did the swelling occur, are there any carious teeth present, is there any associated pain, from when did it start, since when do you have the swelling?
