Hello
Was your scaling completed or you have been called again by the dentist . May be you had deposits below the gum and you require deep scaling . In deep scaling you are injected and then the cleaning is performed
its advised t brush softly after scaling...for 2-3 days brush wid baby brush...very lightly...it will be fine...and some amount f bleeding is dere for 2-3 days ...its quite normal
Plz give me details of ur ongoing medicines, previous problem, condition of gums before and after doing scaling, other health problems, any vitamin deficiency, and is the bleeding from one specific area or is it widespread.
Scaling is a procedure which removes the deposits called as calculus from the teeth which cannot be removed by tooth brushing.
This does not mean in any way that new plaque formation will not happen, because a new layer of plaque starts forming within the next hour after brushing or even procedures like scaling.
So the most important part has to be played by the patient wherein the post operative oral hygiene maintenance by meticulous brushing has to be maintained so that the new plaque which is formed is removed regularly before it converts to hard deposits of Calculus.
Your dentist must have described a proper brushing technique for this maintenance. If not, you can search for modified Bass technique on YouTube and learn and master it yourself because it will be difficult to describe it in written words right here.
Regards.
