Your problem could be because of overstretched inner thigh muscle.
Next Steps
You should do heel walking for 10 times twice a day. You should do give ice pack to the inner thigh for 15-20 minutes thrice a day. You can use Volini gel or spray to the inner thigh. Once the pain subsides you should do inner thigh stretching and strengthening exercises with proper guidance.
Health Tips
If the pain persists or aggrevates you need to consult a Physiotherapist in person or through video call.

Your profession requires you to sit a lot. Try sitting with your legs apart. This may be painful but do that. In an effort to prevent pain you are keeping your thigh near the centre which is increasing the spams which gives you pain when you walk. Also while lying straight or side try to keep legs in parallel with pillows. Do stretching exercises.

seems like you have probably strained your hip flexor muscle from the way your describing your symptoms and from the mechanism of injury. and becoz you have strained your hip flexor(psoas) its putting some pressure on your groin too.
Next Steps
I suggest you try a combination of heat and ice and see what is working better for you and continue with that . but make sure you don't heat or ice for more than ten mins, but do it at least 3 4 times in a day. also gently try to stretch your hip flexor and your groin for further relief. hold each stretch for 20to30seconds atleast
Health Tips
make sure while stretching your not over stretching. also make sure you hold the stretch for adequate amount of time. if the pain still doesn't settle with these above mentioned tips,  please get a sonography done to rule out hernia. for any other question please feel free to get in touch
