Pain in lower back, right hip, groin
I have pain in my right lower back, right hip and right groin area from the last one month. The pain occurred suddenly when I was bending. The X-ray is normal and I have also done bed rest for 15 days but there is no improvement. I also have swelling in my right groin area, right hip and thigh. Is it related to herniated disk or piriformis syndrome?

Hello Chances are it's due to some nerve irritation in your lower spine But there can be some other things too , Kindly either go and visit some doctor or add some more details like. Any medicine you took ? Movement of your hip joint ? ( As it can be due to hip issue) Your walk - are you able to walk or your limping. Any previous history ? You can also consult for further details. Do check or read transient osteoporosis of hip , although you are not fitting in this condition but still add some awareness. Till then avoid weight lifting and try to have as much bed rest as much possible ( it will avoid further worsening ) Thanks

Hi, Consult an orthopedist and start taking the required medicines, once the pain decreased less than 50%, you have to start with slow stretches followed by strengthening exercises for back and thigh muscles. this will help you complete recovery.
