Large ruptured eardrum has less than 10 % chances of getting healed on its own if it's due to infection But if any accidental injury has caused eardrum damage then it heals by 3 months
Next Steps
avoid water entry in ear

If ear drum is ruptured due to trauma, it usually heals on its own in less than 1month to maximum 3months It it's caused by infection, it has chances of healing on it's own but recurrent infection and eustachian tube blockage reduces chances of healing
