I was not feeling hungry since 5-6 days, and day before yesterday I started getting gassy burps and feeling gassy so I took pantop 40 which improve my situation, but with this I started loose stools or diarrhoea, it has been day 2 with the same situation but without gastic, I was on ketorol dt since 6-7 days for tooth surgery, which I immediately stopped after after the gastic problem. And I still don't feel like eating anything, my urine is normal.

Hello, Your reduced appetite, gas and diarrhoea may be related to gastrointestinal irritation from ketorolac (Ketorol DT), which can irritate the stomach and sometimes cause serious gastrointestinal complications. Other causes, including an acute intestinal infection, are also possible. What I recommend: 1. Avoid restarting ketorolac or taking other NSAIDs such as ibuprofen or diclofenac without medical advice. 2. Take oral rehydration solution (ORS) in frequent, small sips to replace fluid and electrolyte losses. 3. Eat small, light meals as tolerated; do not force large meals. 4. Avoid self-medicating with antibiotics or antidiarrhoeal medicines without assessment. Since your appetite has been reduced for 5–6 days and diarrhoea has persisted for 2 days, arrange an in-person medical assessment within 24 hours, particularly if the appetite loss continues. Seek urgent care immediately if you develop severe abdominal pain, blood or black stools, vomiting blood, persistent vomiting, dizziness, reduced urine output, or signs of dehydration. A few important questions: How many loose stools are you passing per day? Do you have fever, abdominal pain, blood in the stool, or vomiting? Regards.

Hello, Your symptoms of reduced appetite, frequent burping, and loose stools may be related to medication-induced gastric irritation or a gastrointestinal infection. Ketorol-DT (ketorolac) is a strong NSAID painkiller that can cause gastritis, stomach ulcers, and occasionally gastrointestinal bleeding. Its use is generally limited to a maximum of 5 days because of these risks. Pantoprazole helps reduce stomach acid but does not treat all causes of diarrhoea. Diarrhoea can also occasionally occur as a medication side effect. Since your appetite has been reduced for 5–6 days, further evaluation is advisable.
Next Steps
Consult a general physician to evaluate persistent appetite loss and diarrhoea. Avoid restarting Ketorol-DT without medical advice. Drink adequate fluids and use ORS to replace fluid and electrolyte losses. Eat small, easily digestible meals such as khichdi, rice, bananas, and curd if tolerated. Review all recent medications, including any antibiotics prescribed after dental surgery. If diarrhoea persists or worsens, your physician may recommend blood tests, kidney function assessment, or stool investigations.
Health Tips
Avoid spicy, oily foods, excessive caffeine, and unnecessary painkillers until symptoms resolve. Do not combine multiple gastric medications without medical supervision. Seek medical attention if you develop severe abdominal pain, black or bloody stools, persistent vomiting, fever, dizziness, or reduced urine output. Although your normal urine output is reassuring, it does not completely exclude dehydration. Most mild gastrointestinal disturbances improve with appropriate care, but persistent loss of appetite should not be ignored. Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Ketorolac, the anti-inflammatory you took for your tooth surgery, commonly irritates the stomach and can cause exactly this pattern of low appetite and gas. The diarrhoea that followed is usually your gut settling down as the irritation eases, not a new problem.
Next Steps
Stick to bland, easy foods like rice, curd and bananas, and keep sipping ORS or coconut water through the day. If your appetite doesn't pick up in another 2 to 3 days, see a general physician to check your stomach lining and rule out an infection.
Health Tips
Go in sooner if you see blood in your stools, develop fever, or feel very weak or dehydrated.
