Reasons for gap in incisors:- 1- Frenum attachment is high. 2- Periodontal issues leading to bone loss. Treatment plan:- Visit a PERIODONTIST for diagnosing the accurate problem and treating that. Options for closing the gap:- 1- All ceramic laminates (best of all options ) disadvantage:-can come off if you bite on anything hard from front teeth. 2- Cosmetic filling (disadvantage:- gets stained). 3- Crowns (are durable among all options), disadvantage:- greater tooth reduction is done as compared to laminates and in future if you are not able to maintain hygine then the teeth can decay and in that situation crowns need to be removed and RCT have to be done followed by capping.

Hello! Sudden appearance of gap due to drifting of teeth, especially the front ones in a young adult like yourself could indicate, acute periodontal ( gum) disease. Closure of gap, orthodontically or otherwise would not be recommended unless the cause, if any is taken care of .
Next Steps
I would recommend you see a dentist in your area for accurate diagnosis and referral to a Periodontist ( gum specialist ) if needed, so proper diagnosis and treatment is carried out.

Creation of a gap which was not existing earlier indicates towards weekend gum support, that is, periodontal disease..... equally important than closing this gap is to take care about preventing further creation of the gap..... this can be done buy gum cleaning followed by a meticulous oral hygiene maintenance at your end..... But all these are tentative suggestions and the best treatment options can be given to you after a clinical examination only....
Next Steps
visit a dentist for a proper examination and discussion of the case
Health Tips
any delay in this treatment should be avoided

Hi,The reason for gap formation is maybe because of gum problem which should be evaluated first by dentist. The gap can be closed either with tooth colored filling ,caps or veneers.Get a regular 6 monthly to yearly teeth cleaning done for healthy gums & to prevent increase in gaps if because of gum problem.
