GALLSTONES
I am having gallstone of 11 mm in my
gallbladder is there any chances to go with medication and not by surgery.Recently i was operated for kidney stones.Please help me with diet and medications for removing the same.Its there from last year and again I dont want to opt for surgery as such there is no pain nothing.

Gallstones are solid particles that are formed in the gallbladder which is a small sac like organ located below the liver on the right side of the abdomen and stores bile until needed. Gallstones within the gallbladder usually donât cause any symptoms unless they are large ones or much in number and person takes heavy fatty meal. Another cause of pain could be obstruction if they block bile secretion from the gallbladder or they get stuck into the bile duct.
The size of the stone may vary from very small like a grain to as big as a golf ball and may be single or multiple in number.

There is no way to expel gall bladder stones (unlike case of kidney stones). So gall stones if they r not creating problem, let them be there. But do follow annual checkups. But if they r causing problem, its better to remove them
