Frozen shoulder problem
Hi Sir/Maa'm My mother is having problem in her left shoulder and she can't lift his hand easil since 6 months and she had taken many pain killers medicine but not cure so far. We have gone for orthopedic doctor and he said this is frozen shoulder problem.he asked for MRI and X-ray which is in progress. Please help on medicine recommendation.

Medicines generally provides pain relief for 2-3 hours. At her age it is always better to adopt some aggressive approach with injection therapy followed by ROM exercises. Pain relief with injection is generally complications free and help in much faster recovery.

MRI not required for frozen shoulder. Go ahead with physiotherapy and intrarticular depoprednisolone injection. Apply hot water compression locally. Pain relief is important for physiotherapy.
