Formed on thumb skin
Attached picture. This got formed on my left thumb skin gradually. After multiple steroid cream uses with current ongoing momate S cream, the upper layer of skin made this exposed. Looks similar to a nodule but it's firm formed from beneath the skin from what it looks in person. Doesn't pain or itch. What is this?? Consulted doctor not able to point to one diagnosis & now recommending me anti fungal tab as well. Please help

A small nodule on the left thumb after using steroid cream can occur due to skin thinning, local reaction, infection, or underlying cyst formation. It is advisable to stop self-application of steroid creams for now. Keep the area clean and avoid squeezing it. You may apply a simple antiseptic ointment if needed. Proper clinical examination is important to confirm the cause. You may visit our clinic for detailed evaluation and appropriate treatment.
