Nutrition supplements along with kitchen feeds can be given through the tube. But make sure he is getting sufficient calories and protein through tube feeds. Qualified  dietitian/ chief dietitian in hospital can guide you for quantity, quality and timings.
Next Steps
Doctor/ physiotherapist  may take decision about whether he could start orally..

Liquid foods should be given in the feeding tube to prevent clogging or damage. The best way to meet nutritional demand is formula feed. Select the best formulas in the market with good energy and protein and mix it with the correct proportion which is mentioned in the pack. Along with the formula feed, in the intervals, instead of water, you can give clear vegetables soup or milk or rice kanji or ragi kanji. Also don't forget to flesh it with the water after every feed to prevent food contamination.

If you father is on tube feeding, I suppose he is still in hospital. If that is the case, the head dietitian of the respective hospital will plane specific meals with supplements if needed for tube feeding. You need not worry about that. Usually thr tube feedings are customized according to the patients blood work, how much he is able to swallow, digest etc. So those parameters would also would be taken care of at the hospital.
Next Steps
Once your father is well and discharged home. Ask the dietitian if he still has to be on some liquid diet/soft diet or can he go back to a normal solid food diet. Accordingly you can get support from an qualified dietitian with experience in hospitals.
