Foamy urine
I have been suffering from a viral fever for the last three days, along with a headache. My period started yesterday. However, I have noticed that for the past three days, my urine has been foamy every time I urinate. I am well hydrated, but my urine is still consistently foamy. My kidney function test (KFT) was normal two months ago. What could be causing this? The foam does not disappear until I flush the toilet. I am currently taking medications, including antibiotics, Ibugesic, an anti-allergy medicine, and a cough syrup.Is it something to be concerned about?

Yes. Foam that lingers in the toilet bowl and stays even after flushing is a key indicator of proteinuria (excess protein in the urine).
Avoid ibugesic for time being. Which antibiotic are you using at present.

Foamy urine can be due to mild dehydration, fast urine stream , in which it is harmless. But can also be due to protein loss in urine
If it persists,
Get urine protein tested, consult a urologist for clinical evaluation.
