Fluctuating creatinine
I went for KFT my creatinine was 1.2(lab ref .67-1.17). All other parameters were normal. UPCR WAS .03. I started drinking 4-5 litres of water. In one week creatinine came to .99 what should i do to find out the cause of elevated creatinine and how to monitor it. No h/o hypertension and diabetes and i also dont have. Pls help. Thanks a lot

Creatinine is not a good marker of kidney lunction. There are many factors which affect is level 1. Age 2. Gender 3. Weight 4 Muscle mass 5. Drugs like antibiotics 6 Hight protein diet 7. Dchydration 8. Difference between one lab to another
