Hello,
My wife's left fingers got deformed at a very young age
Now the right hand fingers are getting slowly deformed, and there is pain in wrist and fingers currently
There is also swelling in the right hand
I consulted ortho, but they dont have any permanent solution for this, just a temporary pain relief solution.
Has anyone trusted such a type of deformity permanently?

Looking at her hands, it seems to be a case of Aamavata (Rheumatoid Arthritis) and it appears to be quite chronic. However, it is not appropriate to confirm anything without knowing her full history.
Ideally, you should consult a qualified Vaidya, but in the meantime, here are some tips that may help:
1) She should avoid dairy products, as they can aggravate the condition. For pain relief, Baluka Seka (sand fomentation)can be beneficial.
2) She can take Sonth (dry ginger) powder(3-5 grams) in the morning and evening to help reduce inflammation and improve digestion.
Make sure to consult a Vaidya for proper diagnosis and treatment.
