Fever to 2 year old
My son is having fever for last 3 days accompanied with running nose. We have got checked with a doctor yesterday who prescribed anti-biotic & cough syrup and Crocin. However, fever reduces and increase again to 102. Could it be something else or just cold? pls advise. Regards

Consult with a pediatrician again as fever is still high. Keep a detailed record of fever. Blood and other tests may be needed

Your problem seems to be viral in nature. Only antihistamines and antipyretics are needed with good diet and maintain adequate hydration

Fever which comes and goes needs a proper evaluation. Please do a consultation and get blood and urine tests done to rule out any infection
